My experience at the Hilton Cairo Grand Nile had its highs and lows. The location was stunning, allowing for amazing views of the Nile, and I enjoyed a good welcome treat in the form of chocolate cake. However, I encountered numerous issues including dirty rooms and poor service. which made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped for.

The Grand Room with a Nile view was spacious and offered great scenery, but it was marred by cleanliness issues—stains on the furniture and unemptied garbage bins were disappointing.

I enjoyed my stay at Hilton Cairo Grand Nile, especially because of the stunning views of the Nile and the Pyramids. The room was spacious and equipped with comfortable bedding, which I appreciated. However, I found the service to be inconsistent and the hotel itself a bit dated, which took away from the overall experience. 🌆

My stay at Hilton Cairo Grand Nile was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the views of the Nile were stunning and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. However, the room initially assigned to me was a smoking room despite my request for non-smoking, and it was far from clean. The service was inconsistent, and I encountered some long waits during check-in.

Rooms
5.0
The room I first received was not only a smoking room but also quite dirty, with a stained carpet and food crumbs. Eventually, I was moved to a cleaner non-smoking room, but I was really disappointed by the initial experience.
Service

While some staff members were friendly and professional, the service often felt disorganized, like the long wait during check-in. Additionally, housekeeping was forgetful at times.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located on the bank of the Nile, which offered amazing views and easy access to nearby attractions like Tahrir Square.
Dining

The breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of options, but the overall dining atmosphere left much to be desired. There were flies around the food, which was quite off-putting.
Facilities

The amenities were decent, but outdated, and the dining area could use better maintenance. The lift service was also slow at times.

My stay at Hilton Cairo Grand Nile was a mixed bag. The hotel location by the Nile offered stunning views, and the breakfast buffet was good with an extensive selection. However, I faced significant issues with cleanliness and service, particularly the intrusive room service protocol and a frustrating check-in experience that took over an hour, which is not what I'd expect from a luxury hotel.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious and had great views of the Nile, but cleanliness was a real concern, with a dirty mug and general disarray in the bathroom.
Service
5.0
While the staff were friendly, the service was disorganized. I felt uncomfortable with unannounced visits from room service during the night, which interrupted my privacy.
Location
7.0
The location is beautiful and feels upscale, but it's quite isolated from other dining options, making it necessary to rely on taxis or Uber to get around.
Dining
6.0
The on-site restaurants offered a variety of dishes, and breakfast was the highlight, but most dining options besides the Nubian restaurant were mediocre with slow service.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has good facilities including a gym and spa, but the check-in process and room maintenance desperately need improvement.

However, the service was frustrating at times, notably during check-in and breakfast. Despite the beautiful rooms and great dining options, some staffing issues left me feeling less than satisfied.

Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent. I encountered unhelpful staff at times, especially during check-in when it took too long to sort out my room access, and the breakfast experience was chaotic with unresponsive personnel.
